HighLevel has just released one of the most exciting calendar updates we’ve seen in a long time – Service Appointments – and it’s going to make appointment scheduling far more powerful and flexible than ever before.

If you’ve been to one of our Calendars & Appointments Workshops, you’ll know that getting your calendar setup right is one of the most important foundations of your HighLevel system. Until now, there were five main calendar types:

  1. Personal Booking Calendar

  2. Round Robin Calendar

  3. Class Booking Calendar

  4. Collective Booking Calendar

  5. Event Calendar

And more recently, Service Booking was added to that list. Now, HighLevel has taken things a step further with a brand-new option: Service Appointments.


What Are “Service Appointments” in HighLevel?

Whereas traditional calendar types focus on who the appointment is with (e.g. a team member or resource), Service Appointments focus on what the appointment is for.

This is a subtle but powerful shift. Instead of thinking “Which staff member should this client book with?”, you start with “Which service does this client need?” – and HighLevel builds the booking flow around that.

Here’s why that matters:

  • Multiple Services, One Booking Page: Offer consultations, onboarding calls, reviews, training sessions and more – all from a single, unified link.

  • 👥 Assign Multiple Team Members to a Service: Ideal if several people can deliver the same service – HighLevel will handle the round-robin logic.

  • ⚙️ Custom Settings Per Service: Control duration, form fields, confirmation emails, reminders, and automations for each service individually.

  • 📊 Better Reporting & Automation: Trigger workflows based on the service booked and see at a glance which services are most in demand.

In short, Service Appointments make your calendar setup more logical, more scalable, and much easier for clients to use.

Can’t See “Service Appointments” in Your Account Yet?

Here’s something important to know: this new calendar type is still being rolled out. If you’re a MarketerM8 client, you may not see the Service Appointments option in your account just yet.

That’s because it needs to be activated at the agency level. Once we turn it on for your account, you’ll see it appear alongside the other calendar types in your settings.
