1. Overview of WhatsApp Billing

MarketerM8 adopts a per-message billing model, charging only for each delivered message instead of imposing fees per 24-hour conversation block. This provides sub-accounts with granular oversight of messaging costs and strategic budgeting flexibility.

Messages are segmented into four categories—Marketing, Utility, Authentication, and Service—each with distinct triggers and cost implications. Recognizing how each behaves is essential for optimizing spend while delivering relevant, timely communications.


2. Subscription Fees for Sub-Accounts

Every sub-account using WhatsApp must maintain an active subscription with MarketerM8. This subscription is a flat $29.99/month, billed directly by MarketerM8 unless a free trial is in place.

30-Day Free Subscription Trial (12 June – 1 September 2025)
MarketerM8 is offering a promotional 30‑day free trial for WhatsApp subscriptions during this window. Agencies and their sub-accounts can activate WhatsApp at no subscription cost initially—though standard message usage fees still apply. Subscription billing begins automatically once the trial concludes, unless canceled.


3. Per-Message Pricing Structure (Effective 1 July 2025)

Starting 1 July 2025, messaging charges are based exclusively on the number of delivered messages, categorized by type:


Marketing: Charged per message


Utility: Charged only if sent outside the open customer service window; messages within an open window are free


Authentication: Charged per message


Service: Messages are free, enabling unlimited cost‑free customer support conversations


This structure encourages cost-effective messaging and alignment of content type with business objectives.
